Our Practice accepts Infertility Benefits provided by Aetna/US Healthcare, Cigna, Easy Choice, Emblem Health, Empire Plan, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Excellus BCBS, GHI, HIP, Independent Health, OptumHealth, Oxford Health Plans, POMCO, UniCare, United Healthcare, 1199 and other Commercial Policies.
Insurance coverage and health plans vary. Patients must understand that not all insurance policies are the same. Some health plans offer full or partial coverage for IVF procedures. MRM dedicated staff will assist you with paper work and authorization process. We will work closely with you and your insurance provider. When necessary, we will obtain your authorization or pre-certifications and we will fill out all necessary forms to meet insurance carrier requirements
New York Law excludes Assisted Reproduction (ART) and IVF costs from mandatory coverage. Medicaid and Commercial policies are not required to cover many other infertility treatments: reversal of elective sterilization procedures (tubal ligation or vasectomy), sex change procedures, experimental medical or surgical procedures and cloning.
